Priority Pass is what I've got through my American Express service.

The standard plan costs £69 a year, but you'll need to pay £24 for each lounge visit.

Standard Plus is £229 a year, including 10 lounge visits with subsequent £24 each.

So if you're a frequent flyer, that might work out for you.

And then it has the Prestige plan, which costs £419 a year for unlimited lounge visits.

You need to go and see where you're flying from, the terminal you're flying from, the airport you're flying from, and whether it's actually worth it.

And some of these lounges, they have pretty poor reviews.

They are full of screaming children, for want of a word.

And actually, I've taken my children into lounges a fair few times.

not screaming but you know they're not all built equal now airline lounges are where you really want to go because they are more flagship they are reserved for the passengers traveling in first or business class or elite frequent flyer status they're usually a bit more luxury a bit more premium i've been in a few in recent years i was at the virgin lounge

i'm at the start of the year uh heathrow very very nice ba1 for a honeymoon uh back before pandemic again very nice and i've been into the emirates uh one at dubai a couple of times which is like a whole floor it's almost like his own terminal far more impressive than the ones you can pay for um or you get the priority pass for for a credit card they've got spa treatments sleeping pods workspaces they're very hard to blag into though

If you book an economy flight and you try and turn up an airline lounge, they ain't going to let you in.

You're not going to be able to talk your way into it.

You need to be a frequent flyer or you need to be in a very good seat.

You need to be paying extra basis to get into it.
