Before we learn a little bit more about your role and the role that landfills kind of play in our wastelands group, how about you give us a bit of an introduction about yourself and how you've come to be here?

Excellent.

And your role at the landfill there?

Yeah, and I guess, you know, growing up in high school and people telling you what your job wants to be when you grow up, you know, I'm pretty sure landfill probably isn't on the top of most people's list.

Did you see yourself kind of be moving into this space?

Yeah.

And so we hear the term zero waste a lot on this show, as you can imagine, and it's a bit of an aspirational goal at the moment.

So the term landfill can almost be a bit of a dirty word.

But the reality is that we don't live in a world that supports zero waste system yet.

And so in the most basic form, what is a landfill and are all landfills the same?
