that's the biggest value for your dollar, right?

Because those salaries are suppressed.

And it's why you started to see a bunch of teams extend players early in their career, which is like, we're going to pay a little more early on, but we're also going to buy out some of these free agent years.

Teams are not going to invest that type of money unless they know that those players are going to be ready when they hit the big leagues.

And so I think, and this is again a theory, I think we're seeing teams begin to invest more in that player development and in those guys.

And then also...

Remember, it was not that long ago when baseball underwent its sort of technological revolution and you had the TrackMan data and all of a sudden driveline went from being a conspiracy theory to literally working in front offices, right?

I think we're seeing that trickle down into college and high school and it feels a little creepy and weird to think about it into Little League and like, man, kids are too young for that really.

But that development has now been happening for those kids since they were 9, 10, 11, 12 years old.

And I think you're starting to see that class of player now start to hit the big leagues and they're readier than they've ever been before.

Oh, exactly.

Yeah.

And I also think going back to that sort of sea change that we had a few years ago, it was pitchers first.

I think pitching technology is easier or it appears that it was easier.

You started to see, you know, seam shifted wake and all of that.

And those things came first.

And then sort of the hitting part of it trailed after.

And so there was this gap where pitching was ahead of hitting.

I think it still is.

But I think we're starting to see hitting catch up a little bit.
