Baseball is hard.
I live in Texas and I've watched the Texas Rangers go to win a World Series in 2023 and then have been not great ever since with many of the same players.
It is an unpredictable sport between injuries.
You'll see a guy whose swing is just off and has always been better.
This is just the nature of the sport.
I think part of why we love it is that it's not that predictable unless you are assuming that the Dodgers are going to succeed with all of that money.
That's a safe bet.

Arjun Nimala, I think, is the guy that I'm thinking of that looks like he could contribute at the big league level soon.
So I don't know that the Blue Jays need a full teardown.

Also, though, and I think this is the same thing with the Rangers, is that there's a temptation when a team goes to the World Series to think that that's who they are.
