And really Van Dijk is the best player in the league, probably alongside De Bruyne.
So he,
he really should deserve to win the outstanding player award for me.
And as you said, he'll be in every team of the season and he started every game for Liverpool.
So yeah, no, he's, he would be, he would be without question that the one of the two centre-backs and I would, I would put Jack O'Connell for Sheffield United alongside him.
It was, again, this is a very tricky one to, to try and, to try and pick, but you just can't, I've struggled really to,
to name this team without putting a Sheffield United player in there, because they've been one of the stories of the season, if not the story of the season.
And defensively, they've just been outstanding.
I saw them quite a lot in the early part of the season when they were sort of underestimated by a lot of teams like Chelsea and West Ham.
But even though they don't carry a great threat going forward, they make teams look very
ordinary by being so defensively organised.
And Chris Wilder deserves a massive amount of credit for doing that.
And they've only conceded 25 Premier League goals this season, and only Liverpool have conceded fewer of that.
And O'Connell's a huge part of that defensive set-up.
He's a brilliant defender in his box.
He's good on the ball.
He starts a lot of their attacks.
And when I was building this team, I'm thinking from a tactical point of view, having O'Connell alongside Van Dijk for that balance, because O'Connell was sort of a left-hand-sided
um defender who plays obviously the central role oh i could see that balance working very nicely if i was uh filled in this team so yeah jack o'connell gets my vote yeah it's part of the fun of these teams isn't it do you just pick the top 11 performers or do you think oh you know he'd dovetail quite nicely with him yeah well in in these in these times of lockdown i've i have to admit we've been playing a lot of a famous manager game on the uh
on the PC, so my brain is getting very tactical and managerial at the moment, so maybe that's been swayed by that, yeah.
