When you punish a child over a long period of time for something, when they're this age, they're not going to understand what they're being punished for.
The punishment at that age should be in that moment or punishment.
I don't even want to say punishment.
I don't think kids should be punished.
It should be corrected in the moment.
But when you do something like this, and especially over days, that is detrimental to the child's mental state.
They are not going to understand at that age.
They're just not.
