It's very, it's known as a rare condition.
Yeah.
So for that reason, there's not a lot of awareness around it.
And so I think what happens is, so the complexities of MS, the fact that it's a snowflake condition, the fact that there's not a lot of awareness around it, people paint it in a certain way.
And it's because there's very limited information that is kind of sent out publicly.
And so it's something that is very, there's a lot of misconceptions around MS.
And it's one of the things I try to advocate for.
Yeah, so you get diagnosed quite young.
You tend to get diagnosed between 20 and 40, which is quite young.
He's very young.
no 30s is young um so yes so you said he's 30 he's 39 39 so yeah that's still considered quite young yeah so it's a it's known as a young person's condition so a lot of people one of the misconceptions is that it's an old person's condition where it's not it's most people get diagnosed between 20 and 40 so it's a young person's condition if anything and if you had a Richter scale of how severe it can get how severe can MS get
It definitely varies from person to person.
You can become paralyzed from MS.
You can be in a wheelchair.
Whether you want to paint that severe, some people would phrase it in a different way.
But yeah, it can affect so many different things.
It can affect the way you walk, the way you speak, the way you swallow, the way your bladder is controlled.
And that varies from person to person.
Sometimes it can affect the way you breathe, which is happening to my sister at the moment.
So it's not fatal.
