In my case, the most severe it's gotten is that I've become paralyzed on the right side of my body.
So that did stop me from walking for a little bit, but that's the worst that it's gotten.

Even now when I've had times where MS has affected my life, that never gets as hard as it was when you were 17.
So, like you said, I was 13 when I had my first relapse, which was weakness on the left arm.
At the time, I was a pediatric case.

No one could figure out why this child is presenting symptoms that look like a stroke, because obviously it's left arm weakness.
So it was brushed underneath the carpet, and it's something that just recovered on its own, and I forgot about it.
When I was 17, it happened on the right side, so it was my right arm that went weak first.
And I just, I remember thinking this has happened to me before, like clearly now when I look back at it, it was clearly trauma that I just buried deep into my brain and didn't like think about.
