Like I know hereditary wise, that's where I'm headed.
So I'm doing everything I can now to prevent that.
But there's the collagen losses are really quite big.
You also have a slower healing rate as well.
So someone that is 20 getting needling done would be different to a protocol of someone that's 60 because your skin doesn't, you know, your cells don't turn over as quickly.
So, yeah.
There's those sorts of things that we see.
There's obviously a lot more sun damage that also comes up from your whole life.
That all starts to appear from 30 onwards and it gets worse as you get towards, you know, perimenopause and menopause.
And after childbirth, you have things like melasma and all of that.
So it's all of those things that compound into that perimenopausal time.
But skin needling is a really good one to help pick that back up and help to manage that aging process.
I'd say radiofrequency skin tightening would be a really big one, and often we alternate between the two.
And how does that work?
So radiofrequency, a lot of people call it RF.
You can actually combine RF and needling.
There are devices out there that do two in one.
For us, what we do here is we do tripolar radiofrequency, which is a lot of technical talk, but it's a very safe one.
In the past, we've had here and in other salons, I'm sure they've been the same, different radio frequency devices that often would zap or you couldn't really control the temperature that they'd get to.
So the heat function in the skin that is made through radio frequency wasn't controlled.
