And I think that really illustrates, you know.
There was there was a lot of moral distress in a lot of these quotes.
And it was very hard to listen to a lot of these things.
Like people don't want to be doing care that's not helpful for patients near the end of life.
And yet they feel like the institution is doing it.
And oftentimes people would respond, like, oh, it's the institution.
They're making me do it.
I feel like everyone was was very eager to talk about the phenomenon.
I think that this is something that has been on their mind, at least providing care that you know may not be beneficial near the end of life, that it has created conflicts.
Those are the cases that people remember, the challenges, um, the the moral distress.
And so people are.
Eager to talk about examples.
They they had lots of examples.
They they were um emotive in the interviews.
Um, however.
When asked about like, well, why might that be the case?
Like, for example, as I was saying, oh, it's the institution, or like, oh, I think, you know, and everyone has like um theories and and ideas.
And and um actually it's it's interesting.
Like, I think one of uh a couple of my interviews actually prompted like debate outside of the interviews.
Like some people thought it was one thing and other people thought it was another thing.
