You get the sense that they are aware of what the others are doing, because of course they are.
And so when Messi goes and scores two goals, Mbappe then comes out and scores two goals.
And then Haaland comes out and scores two goals.
It's like they are having their own personal competition as well.
And I like it.

And he's got so much time left.
That's the thing.
It feels inevitable, maybe not at this tournament, but in a future tournament, he will overtake Messi's goal tally.
