there is the stock valuation.
If you look at all of the shares outstanding, the market cap of SpaceX is somewhere in the ballpark of one to two trillion, depending on where you're looking and what timeframe you're looking at right now.
It came off the IPO at like 1.8 trillion.

if you were strictly looking at, okay, what is the market weight that would then be in the NASDAQ, you would think it'd be a pretty big sizable holding because the $2 trillion company would be very similar to something like a Microsoft or a Amazon or a Google, like in that relative range of size of company, right?
What's a little bit strange because it's coming off of an IPO and because it just got added to the NASDAQ, which also is interesting because they fast-tracked it into the NASDAQ.
Normally, an IPO would have to be on the market for a longer period of time, but this one got fast-tracked into the NASDAQ 100.
is it's only about a 1% weight in the QQQ right now due to the amount of shares that are actually available to be bought and sold of SpaceX.
So a lot of insiders, previous employees, current employees, Elon himself, still have a lot of shares outstanding that are not on the open market and can't be on the open market until certain time periods are met.
So the overall size in the NASDAQ 100 right now of SpaceX is a lot smaller than maybe you would expect due to the size of the market cap of the company.
So what Ali is saying is the size that it's actually making up in that portfolio is pretty small.
