And I got the golden buzzer, which was insane.

I also was blacked out and in shock.

Do you know, this is a fun fact, I was so not in my body, like as I was singing Never Enough, that after the first chorus, I thought the song was ending.

Okay, so I'm holding out the note, and then I hear the track keep going.

I've sung this song a million times.

Oh, no, I guess here we go again.

Like, I was so disoriented.

And, yeah, so if you watch that performance...

I was in a very confused state.

But it worked.

I mean, like a dream, like a dream.

And I had to realize...

You know, even though things happened later than I expected, I wasn't ready until that moment.

So it was the perfect time.

I think the pandemic put things into perspective, like losing it all.

made me realize if I'm going to fulfill the dream that I had singing in my room when I was little, I needed to face my fear.

And now I'm like the number one believer in exposure therapy.

You have to do the thing so you can reframe your idea around it.

And also, I just think I was at a more mature age.

I think that if you do this too young, it's just like no one fully knows themselves as a teenager.
