I don't know, my brain, my frontal lobe was not present.

So all of those elements combined and then facing the fear made me feel ready.

Uh, well the, the team there, everyone involved in Britain's Got Talent, it was absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful.

Amazing.

Um, the press in the UK is very different than the US and that's something that I was not prepared for.

I have never spoken about this.

Um, but I feel like

I don't know if it was that I was American, but there were many other contestants on the show that were not British.

Or if it's because I had had opportunities before the show, but I feel like they felt like I was taking opportunities away from their people, from the UK.

And I think that their perception of me was that

like a little bit entitled, which made me sad because, I mean, I can totally understand that.

But at the time, people did not know who I was.

And

I knew I needed to tell that story.

If I hadn't gone on a show like that, it would have taken years and years and years.

And even to this day, a lot of people don't like listen to the song, but they don't know.

Um, and I do feel bad if I took any opportunity away from anyone, but at the end of the day, the show approached me and I, I am glad that I did it.

And I'll tell you what I did not win.

By a long shot.
