Because I've had two floods in my life and they've both been profound in how my life has played out since.
Yeah, so second one, you know, we bought our ghost house, brutalist house, subterranean.
Anyone that has a subterranean house should know that the water has to get to the ground floor in order to go.
And if that pump that was pumping the water up fails, you really are in the shit.
And we were really in the shit.
So one night after a particularly rainy night, all that water that was meant to be getting pumped up started to pump into our house and the entire ground floor was sodden.
And as a consequence of that, we ended up having to move out.
I've still not moved back in.
I've not had my house for a year now.
But what I would say is, would I have wanted John?
John died in a rental house.
Would I have wanted John dying at the ghost house?
