Because I was married for 16 years with John, 17 and a half, 18.

Met him when I was 25.

I was independent.

I lived independently when I met him.

But he quickly recognised that...

Paying bills and doing practical stuff didn't really interest me.

I found that quite boring.

And he was very happy to do it for me.
