And and then I realized, well, introverts have a lot of superpowers that make them really well suited to be wonderful leaders.
So a few off the top of my head, you know, the first one that was huge for me was well, introverts are often really great writers.
Written communication is a strength.
And me, I study journalism and so I always assumed everyone knew how to write and then you realize that not everyone knows how to write.
As soon as you start reading other people's writing, you're like, oh geez, yeah, right.
Exactly.
So so that's very powerful, especially when a lot of us are remote or hybrid, the written form of communication is going to be like documenting your work and and sharing that around.
That's going to be really important.
Two, really great at building relationships.
Always going to be a really important workplace skill and makes work more enjoyable.
And especially in the age of AI where things can feel a little bit more disconnected, like being able to understand your challenges and your concerns and what also excites you about work and really getting to know you on a personal level is an introvert superpower.
And then the third that was perhaps the most maybe like untraditional or surprising to me was that introverts are actually really great public speakers, especially in prepared scenarios.
So impromptu speaking, maybe you know, an introvert gets a little more nervous about that.
But introverts, again, they try to understand their audience, they prepare really well.
And so knowing that and being able to lean
into that, like public speaking is one of the best ways, I think, to get visibility at work.
So knowing just a few of those strengths, now instead of trying to push myself to into situations where it's it doesn't feel as natural or doesn't feel as comfortable or is a huge energy drain, now I can focus on the strengths that I have and really leverage those.
So one of them was really around video presence.
And I mean, you have an excellent setup right now, Karen.
I'm not surprised, but so many people.
