I was definitely moody with my family.

Oh, yeah.

Well, I've just had a colonoscopy.

Oh, nice.

Yeah, which was actually perfectly, actually, it wasn't too bad.

The colonoscopy itself is fine.

I was sound asleep.

And the prep wasn't too bad this time around either.

But I think if you've had one and you know what to expect, it's a lot easier.

But you know the irony of that?

I went in with quite an obvious symptom that you should get checked out.

And I left being told I had an absolutely beautiful bowel and it was all probably to do with my age.

And changes in, you know, natural just sort of changes in your body.

They didn't use the word perimenopause or menopause or anything like that, but it kind of was implied.

You don't know.

And we've talked about this time and time again on this podcast.

There are things which pop up and we can put it down to perimenopause or menopause, but you do need to go and get things checked out because it could be something else.

I was very lucky in this particular case.

I'll just go home and churn through the Metamucil.

I mean, shit can still happen no matter what we do, no matter how well we look after each other.
