within yourself it is normal to hit a dip to begin with before things turn around that can really help which is why I think coaching is so important now what does a strong process actually look like
Absolutely.
And I want you as a regular listener to Talking Trading, think about the similarities between what Diana has said and all of the market wizards, the market greats, the people I've interviewed in the past in my own methods, because this idea about throwing a dart at a dartboard and becoming an effective trader like you've won Tats Lotto, that is just amazing.
not going to happen for you.
It is not.
So we have to really break it down, work out where we're heading, work out our entry, exit and position sizing, and make sure that we cover those areas that Diana's just discussed.
Now, I want to talk about your corporate background.
I know you come from global banking.
I used to have a corporate role years ago, years and years ago.
Oh my goodness.
When I think back then, it's like,
I was in my 20s and I became a full-time trader when I was 26.
So it's been quite a long time.
Tell me a bit more about the lessons that you learned from that global banking arena that you can apply for yourself and for your traders today.
The thing I miss about my global corporate role, I worked for a US company down in Bradstreet and I was a national manager there and I had a great time.
I know some people hated their role and that's why they became a trader, but I just loved my role.
I had to leave because of a health issue, but I miss the accountability and I also miss
That feeling that there were people I could trust when I was getting overwhelmed with information.
Because for the trader at home, often there is so much information just flooding our systems.
And that can make it really difficult because we can feel a bit frozen and we don't know who to turn to.
