He was talking a lot about shows being outsourced.

One he mentioned in particular was Ferry City, which, you know, people do watch it and it has quite a loyal viewership, I understand.

He was saying that hard decisions are going to have to be made and he couldn't really answer what the future of that show would be.

So there was, and I mean, things like League of Ireland matches, it's important to interrogate those issues, of course, but

I guess the more existential questions went unanswered and unasked.

But I think at the same time, Kevin Baccarus didn't really seem to know the answer to any of these questions.

And I think that just goes to show how uncertain the future of RTE really is.

And Keir Starmer previously backed him for the leadership as well.

I just think it's fascinating and you would kind of hope for Keir Starmer, I know he was saying on Friday that he would continue and he would fight for his leadership, but it would be bananas for him to go in and fight any kind of leadership competition when he knows...

He's not going to win.

And there's a piece in the Sunday Independent today from the British Independent, and they're saying that over 200 Labour MPs are now backing Andy Burnham.

But you would just wonder if you remember when Labour won this last election and Keir Starmer was seen as this bright, shining light and he was going to turn it all around and the Labour MPs had such faith in him and then...

Look at what's happening now.

They just have very little faith in him and his support has gone off a cliff.

Is the same going to happen with Andy Burnham?

Are they putting so much unfounded faith in him when they don't know how he's going to do?

But I mean, it'll be interesting to see how Keir Starmer progresses, because what this piece is saying is that he's not gone by Tuesday, he's gone.

And I mean, I know Manchester is a big city and being mayor of it is a lot of responsibility, but nothing compared to being the Prime Minister of Britain.
