I realize um many years later that

Different situations in my past.

Explosive situations from other people.

Calm was my superpower.

learned that being calm.

Kept me safe.

So I'm naturally quite a calm person.

And I think to a certain extent the family environment, being calm, if you had a temper and if you suddenly exploded, that wasn't good.

That wasn't right.

Yeah, it took a long time and I was only reflecting more recently.

I realised I had a

incident with a an ex boyfriend many years ago and and that was suddenly explosive and I ended up with a split lip.

And you know, being pushed down and hand over my mouth and it was what disturbed me was it was so explosive.

It was one minute and the next and I retaliated 'cause I'm quite a confident person.

And I learnt then that if I retaliate, if somebody provokes me and lashes out at me.
