And I think there were people who were sort of flying under a radar, who were keeping themselves small just to observe the room.

Absolutely.

And when you had a conversation that you think, wow, actually, this person is a giant.

Do you enjoy being on stage?

Is that not different, separate to singing?

And that's good to know, isn't it?

Good to recognise for people that do get nervous.

I think there's an assumption that when we see people perform and we see people, I mean, when I say perform it, whether it's on stage, whether it's in a film or whether it's in a meeting, we presume that they're feeling on the inside the way they look or the way we perceive them.

We don't see what's going on internally.

Yeah.

And that's interesting because I've actually had very few bosses because I've always worked for myself or been self-employed apart from the first couple of years in the NHS.

But what I have had is a lot of challenging students when I've been teaching and some who live in a class can be really rude and challenging.

And it's very much knowing the dynamics and watching the dynamics in the group of who's who.

And yes, you're right.

I completely agree.

A lot of it is fear.

Yes.

And it's fascinating to try and understand.

I think when that happens, and I've had people who've challenged my English skills,

I mean, I have no problem if somebody says my German is awful because my German isn't excellent.
