And I don't look around and think people in Paris or New York City are having a terrible life.

But when we think about how the rule book has changed, if you can't just save your way to a house, then you have to rethink what home looks like in a couple of ways, what finance looks like, but also what the shape and your aspiration for what a home looks like as well.

I think there's an idea that this story is

is that successful adulting, like the sign that you've made it as an adult successfully, is that you own a house, a freestanding house.

Now, there's many reasons why we've adopted that narrative, but what we're really seeking is secure shelter.

Now, I think there's a lot of challenges with renting because it's insecure, but it should be culturally okay to rent.

Most countries in Europe, you know, you will have long-term renters and they're not suffering.

Here, I would say you might have challenges, but that's because of the regulation around renting rather than renting is bad.

And there's also, like you say, you know, you might be living in a different house.

I've had that story too.

You know, I was living in a freestanding house following the story.

And then after a separation, found myself back in the market where the property price had doubled, my income had halved.

I was never going to be able to buy a house again.

And it's been many years of living in apartments and now in a townhouse.

And I actually love it.
