Well, I think it would be achieving that they're saying basically we tried to do a cease and desist with you.
Like there were other emails that led up to the lawsuit.
There was the initial tranche of emails that I've talked about and there was a secondary tranche of emails where they were like, hey, we've noticed that you're doing something that we thought we agreed you
we didn't want you to do yep and then they escalate to the lawsuit and they basically the legal filing makes it pretty clear that their stance is that they don't want to be doing this they say like we actually broadly agree with you on all of your environmental activism yep on top of the one dollar
The lawsuit also asks the judge to find that Patagonia should pay Patagonia the brand's lawyers fees.
Which would be significant.

And something I didn't know until I was researching this story is that in the US, whether you pay costs and whether you pay lawyers bills are actually two different things.
So if someone gets ordered to pay costs, that could mean literally just like the cost of filing something with the court.
And then it's a separate ruling.
if the judge decides, yep, actually in this case, I think it is worthwhile getting the losing party to pay the winning party.
That would be if the court ruled that she had to stop doing that.
Not, I mean, a settlement would involve different terms probably.
