So that was like a kind of wild first week of, you know, coming to the U.S.

But then I played at Broome Community College for two years and I went to Southern Virginia and Virginia Airmont.

I got a full ride there, played there for two years, and then I went overseas to Ukraine, actually, out of all the places.

Played there for this team called Hemmick and then played for two teams in Slovenia.

a decently short basketball career, but in the grand scheme of things, I was one of those kids that the coaches were like, you're the hardest working guy I've ever known, but you're probably not gonna make it, like to my face.

And I'm like, okay, is that a compliment?

But I lived with a chip on my shoulder a lot.

And by the way, it's also how I, part of the story, I think I mentioned it to you yesterday,

When we moved back from London to Slovenia, my mom worked at the bank.

So even before we moved to London, she worked at the bank, came back, started working at the bank again.

And then her and her friend opened up a gym.

And in Slovenia, you'd have these like physical education buildings.

There's this building called Partizan.

So at the top floor, they rented out the small space.

I don't know.

I'm going to guess it was probably like 2,000 square feet, 2,500 square feet.

But, you know, nice equipment, techno gym, squat racks.

Yeah.

It was, it was, I mean, back then it was like, it was like the thing.
