Yeah.
And, you know, Air Alert 1 and 2 and the plyo shoes that look like, like stilts, you know, like, because I wanted to, I was so...
uh committed to this like i want to be more athletic i want to you know it it there was obviously a a gap in like i was seeking significance through like getting good at basketball and so i was diving into all these things and even you know when i was six it was 16 or 17 between 16 and 17 boris was my coach you know he goes to this guy and goes like hey like i got this crazy kid like he just wants to dunk he wants to get better like can you come train with you guys
and he was like sure if he comes early in the morning before school thinking like i wouldn't show up but he didn't know i was a nutcase you know so i show up and but man i'm training with olympians you know i'm training with the best of the best and like you know learning all this stuff like from fires to how much percentage your body weight on sled except like all this stuff right again i'm not thinking like i'm getting better at the sports performance aspect i'm just thinking like this is all for basketball but underlyingly i was learning so much about performance right
And I think this was a big reason for later, you know, kind of going into the coaching field because, I mean, I was just devoured.
And then, you know, think about when T Nation came up, right?
I mean, the moment Elite FTS, T Nation, all those came up.
I mean, I would read for hours every night on that stuff, right?
And again, it wasn't one of those things where it was like, I'm going to be a coach.
And by the way, at that point in time,
In Slovenia, I mean, personal training wasn't even a thing.
When I started a gym in Slovenia, after I got done with my career, actually during while I was still playing, you couldn't look at a trainer and go like, man, look at that guy.
Successful, great status, tons of money.
That didn't exist.
You were either...
It was a side hustle, hobby, or you were a strength and conditioning coach, which still didn't mean that you made good money.
So it wasn't something that you could look to and go from a perspective of finances and career, I'm going to do that.
But the feeling that I got of when I trained myself, but also when I started training people was,
I, it was very fulfilling, you know, being able to see people like, even in a session where you coach them, do something a little better, they lift more, the back doesn't hurt.
They, you know, they get a PR and it's just like, you know, I was making no money almost right at the beginning, but it's like, I would leave the sessions going like, oh man, this is it.
