Rachel, talk us through what happened.
So Rachel, the addition of manslaughter to me from the outside looking at this case, feels like a loss for the defence.
Is that a view you share and and if so, why?
And so if deliberations drag on for hours or become difficult, it certainly seems to give the jury a slightly easier option for how to bring this case to a close.
Okay, Rachel.
So let's get into closing arguments now.
We first heard from the defense and Kevin Reddington.
Guide us through some of the key moments that we heard in court.
And then the prosecution began their closing arguments.
Rachel, what were some of the key points that they made?
So a five week trial, dozens of experts and other witnesses take to the stand, all come down to a one hour closing argument from each side.
Rachel, what was it like inside the courtroom as those arguments were given out?
So with this case, Rachel, we had twelve jurors and six alternates, but I understand there was a slightly unusual way ab about how the final jury was selected and and which individual specifically would be making the decision on Lindsay Clancy's fate.
What can you tell us about that?
So the jury have now been sent for deliberations and Rachel, you're gonna be there waiting until a decision is made.
We don't know how long that's gonna be though, do we?
Thank you so much Rachel.
We appreciate it and we look forward to hearing from you when we do have an answer from the jury.
But that's all for today's episode.
We're gonna bring you the major updates as they happen.
