I think the disastrous decision to get rid of the Fairness Act in the 1980s had a lot to do with that, allowing Rupert Murdoch to acquire as much as he did, which was against the law at the time in the 1980s with telecommunications director under Reagan.

You know, when we started looking at all the different incremental steps that kind of was taken to dismantle what you're talking about, Don, at the end of the day is just all about, to your point, money.
And so if we allow journalism to be linked to money, yes, we're going to be in trouble.
We have to get the American people to remember journalism isn't about money.
It's not attached to media.
It's not media.
The purpose of journalism is to help keep the government in check.
And we need
get some, you know, conjunction junction, where's your function back in television so that's back a part of your education degree so people understand that.
