We were sort of thinking, what is she waiting for really, like Arla Ward?

Because like we said, losing 1-0 was going to have the same impact on us as losing 2 or 3.

So it was one of those games where you could really chase it.

Whereas in the start of a qualifying game, goal difference can come into it and you understand how you might hold out for a 1-0 loss.

But really, yeah, I find it hard to understand why we didn't chase the game.

So I don't, it's hard to, yeah, I can't put words in it really, because it's hard to understand, like, especially, like you said, that red card, I thought, was really an invitation to Ireland to, like, just have a go.

Why not?

Like, against France, they were holding on, France.

They were

nearly taking the ball to the corner almost at times with still 10 minutes to go and yeah you just think with another couple of attacking players on we could have maybe even put them under more pressure than we did up to that point you know I understand kind of trying to stay in the game and keeping it tight up till the hour or so mark which is generally when you see the first kind of subs happening off a bench so yeah

Yeah, it was kind of nearly at that point.

I just hope that come November when we're, hopefully November, if not October, but like hopefully that we don't look back at that and think of it as like maybe a lost opportunity.

I mean, at the same time, France were quality.

And even if we did put on the subs earlier, who knows, it might have been the same result.

But just, yeah, questions over that, of course.

Like I said before the campaign, to be in this position is definitely an achievement and it is and it is progress definitely.

Particularly that seeded playoff, which means like we said earlier, the first round of the playoff should potentially be a little bit easier on paper.

We should be expected to get through that and then obviously face into the game.
