in November but yeah definitely we've seen improvements I think within the team and it's just it's really that attacking threat and we did see it against the Netherlands just didn't see it as much then last night but yeah definitely I think hopefully I agree with them that we I expect us to be at the World Cup and hope that we'll be there too like we do have quality players we talk about you know our attacking ones but I thought Caitlin Hayes as well last night was immense like she was so good winning games
Just really, you know, any young defenders out there should be watching her game really as much as possible because she's just kind of a textbook centre back really.
And then she can still play out when we have the ball too as well.
So just all around, I think a really good player.
Yeah, I think probably coping with the pressure.
Like there was some big games there, especially, like I said, the game Porky Creeve.
just been able to I think kind of keep the ball under pressure as well that seems to be a definite improvement but now of course if we go the other way in that in the playoff the first round at least we'd be expected to dominate possession and try to potentially break down a low block which is the opposite of how we have been playing so
And they'll have to completely rewrite the game plan for those games.
So that'll be interesting.
I don't know if they'll have time for a friendly before those or not.
But yeah, I'd imagine they'll completely have to do an awful lot of homework for that one.
Yeah there have and like you said it's really outside of Denise and Katie in this case so yeah I mean even Anna Patton as well at the back has really come into it I think her and Caitlin Hayes kind of have been leaders there like you said obviously the girls who were there in the past were very hard to replace and
Then you have Courtney, I think, coming on an awful lot in goals too.
She's been so steady.
So, yeah, we have kind of, I think, a real development of players throughout the team now.
They're coming into their own, I think, that little bit more and getting more caps under their belt.
So they'll, you know, maybe be the next kind of phase of leaders, I suppose.
She's a quality player, you can just see it.
She has that technical ability and really if she manages to stay injury free, I think she'll be a huge player, even bigger than she is now, like for Ireland.
But yeah, like I said, Roosha's experience I think really stood to us as well and
