There weren't cell phone towers pinging as easily as they are now.

I mean, technology now, you leave a paper trail, electronic trail everywhere you go.

But in those days, it wasn't that severe.

But the biggest problem with that case is we're sitting in the courtroom and even the judge took consideration of it and said, I got to sentence you while your son is now 14 years old, listening to me tell him that his father killed his mother.

But we did – there was no deals made in that case.

There was nothing.

He said he didn't do it.

We tried the case.

The jury overwhelmingly found that he was guilty of the offense.

He's probably out now.

I think he got 30.

They did offer a plea in that case, but it wasn't good enough.

It wasn't something that we would consider.

If we would have got it down to manslaughter, it would have been different.

But we got it off of the first-degree murder, and so I think we ended up, it was second-degree murder is what it came down to.

We had some stuff to work with in terms of did she get killed during rough sex, that kind of thing.

It could have been an accident.

I don't know why you would call your girlfriend to get rid of the body afterwards, but that's neither here nor there, you know?
