I was born right before 9-11.

I went to middle school during the financial crisis.

I graduated high school in 2016.

The first election I knew ever was

Trump, Hillary.

I then graduated college in 2020, saw COVID January 6th.

And now we've got tariffs, I guess.

And so there's this constant disruption.

So I think a lot of people are just asking, do they have agency in this world?

Can they affect progress and change?

And I'm here to say, yes.

Yes, you do.

It's just about getting out there and having those conversations, listening, engaging, give people the chance to be better.

I think it's, again, I don't think there's one set uniform answer to that question.

But what I see when we talk to our students, and we've got about like 90-ish chapters across the country in our college chapters.

And so we have like a diversity of students across the board.

We'll engage colleges of various different intellectual backgrounds, various different sort of public-private universities.

And like what I've seen in our work is that

There is a sense that while students feel that they have access to information, the caricature of the other side is defined by the loudest voices that represent the other side.

So like your political side is represented by certain people in my brain because that's who I see on my content.
