Um one of the things that we we we see with our national workforce trends report continues to be report after report, uh lack of awareness in the general market.
And I think this aligns very of the industry.
This aligns very well with uh um
Things that the uh NSCB pointed out around um we have to make biotech more, you know, invested part of our culture.
So it needs to be a national priority, but it also needs to be culturally a priority.
Um we need students to not say what is biotech or uh think that they they have to get a medical degree and will work in a white coat and that's the only pathway to work in our industry.
We need them to understand, we need people that
can um, yes, of course, work in a lab based system or work on a manufacturing floor, but we need people to know how to weld and do, you know, piping and and work as a type of plumber in some of these regulated spaces.
I think
I have a company that literally could not find the right type of welders and they had to
go to the northeast where it's more culturally in you know embedded into that in the into that region to find the technical count they need.
So it's about working with your technical systems and your s your your uh state systems to um
uh make sure people are understanding that life science is is not just like one pillar within a workforce.
It c it kind of touches everything.
It's specialized technical skills.
It's specialized like how you do research.
It's how you raise money.
It's how you grow business.
It hits all these different types of areas.
