You know, Tuskegee, there's so many ways where I have so much more empathy for populations who have a mistrust of the medical system because I'm like, rightfully so, you know, like rightfully so.

of these reports of medical kidnapping, these instances, the big news reports, it's all kind of come as the surge of having access to caps has increased, right?
So more hospital systems have caps, which means that diagnosing abuse has become more exact science and less about a CPS worker's vibes on a family.
But yeah, so that's always something I'm kind of thinking about is that often when equity is actually happening, it can then feel like oppression to those who've never had to deal with consequences before.
You know, in America, who's to know?

Honestly, it really gave me it gave me like the most to think about was really the conversations we had in episode nine, because I think I am definitely someone who's in that camp of like, I think the more resources we can give to community, the less we're going to need systems like law enforcement.
Right.
Like, if you are providing free education, free health care, if you get rid of these barriers to seek assistance and, like, people aren't struggling every day, like you were saying, it drastically reduces cases of neglect that are just piling upon CPS, right?
Like, that are taking away resources from then having the ability to perhaps –
Yeah.
And I remember even like I was reading, I was like, what was like pre-colonization?
Like what was going on in the America?
Like I was doing like all this deep diving.
I was like, okay, if we get rid of colonization and like that root of violence, like what was happening?
