So you obviously did such a happy dance then.

Yeah, we did.

We had gone from being told it was stage four cancer to then being told it's probably curable.

Wow.

Talk about messing with your head.

Yeah.

We felt like we had won the lotto or better than that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So we went over and he had his first treatment in London.

Now, again, it was expensive because he needed two different drugs for the first four treatments.

And it was once a month.

But we went over and we nearly made a little weekend of it.

Or, you know, we had a couple of nights to ourselves in London.

I would go over with him for moral support.

And I thought that he'd be resting up after his treatments.

But that wasn't James at all.

So we went walking all around London, had a great time.

It was really lovely.

And one of the times we brought the boys as well and just had a few days.

My mum came with us so that we saw all the sites, did everything.
