And I promised him that I'd look after the boys.

And as he was holding hands with them, he just slipped away.

He was obviously waiting for us to be there.

It was half an hour exactly after we had gotten there.

He was gone.

And it was the most surreal thing to be in that room with him after he had passed.

His arms were as familiar to me as my arms.

I just kept looking at them thinking, how are they still and cold now?

I don't understand.

And there was a time where I was on my own with him and I kept saying to him, James, you died.

You actually died.

Because I just couldn't believe it.

And I felt like he was going to answer me at any minute.

Very strange to be in there with him.

But it was when he died, there was this sense of peace that I didn't expect.
