So there are some programs in Australia now that are helping with people taper off.
There's some guidelines that can help people do that, and the way that's done can make a big difference.
So yeah, there's lots of nuance there that I would encourage people to not give up there as well, to really go back and try to...
see about their medication use and whether there's something that can be tweaked or changed.
Thank you for that clarification.
Unfortunately not.
Oh, no.
That's where we're going to talk about psychedelics, right?
But it would be great if like every year there's another class of... Oh, see, here I am thinking, yeah, the pharmacists are developing all these new... Now we've kind of run out of ideas a little bit there.
But people are using the current medications in more, I guess, creative ways.
So for instance, the psychiatrist I was working with recently, someone had a really low sort of very melancholic depression, someone who couldn't get out of bed, someone who...
cognitively foggy someone had no drive and so they were using like a stimulant medication the sort they use for ADHD to help that person with their drive and motivation just to get them up and help them start to engage in the therapy they were doing and so and that was you know helpful in that situation so
Again, often it's the combination of therapy and some sort of medication.
I would say to people, if you are using medication or you're interested in that for any mental health condition, consider the augment with therapy because that's where the power is, I think.
Exactly.
Get the best outcome.
Use the window of opportunity that the medication may give you.
Yeah.
Make use of that to make some big changes while you can.
Yeah.
