And so, yeah, like unfortunately not always, like the bullpen is not always going to be clicking altogether.
But, yeah, they certainly need to get,
Mayton rolling.
He's obviously going to be a really important piece.
They're also being very cautious with how they're using Hunter Harvey early in the season, which, you know, if that's fans are curious why he really hasn't pitched much in the last week, it's because they're really trying to manage his workload and keep him healthy because given his injury history.
So like, for example, in the double header, like they predetermined going into Sunday's double header, like they, they were staying away from him.
So, so, so it's a lot of mix of,
combinations and factors.
And so, yeah, this early part of the season is really kind of a feeling out process, I think, for everyone on staff of, you know, what are the ideal situations to use some of these guys?
What do they need individually as relievers to feel their sharpest?
For some, that means pitching more frequently, regardless of what the game situation might dictate.
For others, it might mean they need to be down an extra day to recover better.
So I think that's kind of what you're seeing right here in the early going.
Yeah, I mean, I think obviously there's some difference with Kade's injury, just with the location of it.
But I mean, both of them talked about it.
Like Boyd isn't and hasn't done any imaging on it.
Like, honestly, if it, if it wasn't for, I think Sunday's double header and then subsequently Kade's injury and, and not having him available.
they could have just skipped his start, but they weren't going to have enough innings.
They needed another arm.
And Boyd said, you know, when he threw a bullpen on Sunday, he felt pretty good after it.
