Um that's that's you know, that's a hindsight view of course.

But uh yeah, in principle it w it would have been Vettel would have been the perfect guy to base that new era around um to to to be part of the foundations of that.

But he was never he was never made part of the p foundations.

Yeah, yeah.

So it was not as fast as a Mercedes over a lap, but it was close enough and good on the tires that you they were able to do on one stop less.

Um and that just f flicked the switch on that day at that circuit.

Um the i the car was a bit shorter than the Mercedes, so it was a bit more agile.

Um it's a bit draggier, but it was um yeah, decently powerful and it was very drivable.

And it was very good on the tyres.

And that that was a pretty potent combination.

Uh especially as Red Bull had started on the back foot.

So Mercedes was the only really one of the the competing with at the at that stage.

So to be able to e even even though the the the the circumstances of that particular circuit layout and surface or whatever favoured them being able to get by on one stop list.

than the s the fact that they could use that to make the difference between beating them and finishing behind them told you that they they'd made a very, very big step.

Now, it wouldn't always be like that.

I don't think anybody was kidding themselves that cause it wouldn't hear they were going to keep winning through the season, but they were close enough that they could occasionally

And I think a l a lot of great work had gone in.
