but I'm hoping that it's not just gonna be for LaSalle Street and the families in that community.

And I look at all the pictures, it says West Charlotte, and I know what you mean.

What would that do to the attendance at West Charlotte and its programs?

So we certainly need that thrust in that area.

Yes.

That's when I think of Kathy Simmons street, right across the street from a West Charlotte, right across the street from the bus stop, we're trying to close down.

We will find some means by which to make life better for the people of Mecklenburg County that find themselves caught up in drugs.

Four corridors have it.

So if you are successful with your program, which I believe you will be, and if you're not successful, it's because of the community not supporting you.

So we must give you the kind of support that you need and the thrust to

for parents to be involved also.

And make sure that we try to get young men in the program, not just young women.

Making sure that we bring our boys into the program so that they can be good fathers and good leaders in this community.

So thank you, Mr. Chairperson for affording me to say this, but I think back at Phillip O'Berry, when we were planning that school,

to be that process when I sat on the school board.

But it never happened.
