But in doing that, we had the right to connect.
And I could tell him if I disagree with him
exactly what it is.
And that franchise consultant's role, in my mind, is to help them take the top-line revenue higher, which increases the bottom-line revenue.
Or if they can't take the top-line revenue any higher, at least help them with the bottom-line revenue so they have a good experience as a franchisee.
Now, with that said, there's too many times, I think, that they don't communicate on understanding that.
That doesn't mean being their best friend.
That doesn't mean taking them out to a fancy meal.
It really does mean being able to say to them the things that they need to hear, and sometimes you have to ask permission.
For instance, Paul, do you want me to tell you today what you want to hear or what you need to hear?
Because I will go either way.
And
get through that and they give you the permission, now tell me what I need to hear.
