Hope is having a plan.

and sticking to it and fighting for the virtual plan you have.

And I think that's what we have the beginnings of is a sort of a vision where if we had the right kind of investment from, let's say we have sovereign funds in Ireland from all those big tech companies, right?

Why can't we have a lot more of that sovereign wealth that we have right now going into economic sovereignty in terms of investment in the Irish Strategic Investment Fund has actually put money into a diagnostics company, a drug discovery company.

That kind of investment gives me hope

that we have a chance of rebalancing the scale here and moving us over to really productive areas where AI is not just a ball of smoke or another better search engine that we have already.

So that's where I think we have some hope.

Well, we started to see that a lot of the corporations that invested in AI to automate their workforce and cut back on the staff, they're starting to report that they haven't seen any increase in the financial health of their companies.

So what's just not delivering for them, right?

And we've got companies now that are starting to question that.

the amount of investment they put into AI.

So we haven't seen that major shock that people like Anthropic were warning about.

In fact, what we started to see is a weird thing happening, like software engineers.

We all thought they'd be out of work because coding now you can do through the AI.

It's the opposite.

It's more demand for them because you're making something more efficient.

You're increasing the demand.

There's more coding to manage.

They need more engineers.

Another thing's happening is when you cut back on staff of humans,
