Consider our utility infrastructure and monthly electric bills as well.
These facilities require immense amounts of energy, straining our electrical grid to its absolute limit.
To keep up with this demand, utility companies are building massive new substations and running high voltage transmission lines straight through our neighborhoods and open spaces.
We aren't just losing our natural views, we're paying for it.
Expanding the grid to support data centers drives up regional infrastructure costs and risks triggering severe power reliability issues, leaving local residents to deal with potential blackouts and rising utility rates.
We cannot allow Loudoun's communities to be treated as sacrificial land for industrial tech expansion.
It threatens our property values and jeopardizes our energy grid.
We must put a stop to building data centers in our residential communities.

the uh misguided two thousand two uh Northern Virginia sales tax referendum um that was claimed to be good for traffic, but it would not have been.
So um yeah, I've been doing smart growth stuff for a long time.
Um I I was looking on the map of this uh preserve assemblage and among many things that I I thought about I I was looking at
