And I think this case is an illustration of why those reforms need to be made.
So let's say you have a faculty that's comprised of majority of left-wingers.
And that's true, I think, of every law school in America.
The only way you're going to fix that is put a sensible reformer in as dean and try to steer things back to the center.
But as long as the faculty has a veto power over the dean selection process, that will never happen.
And the capture of legal academia will continue.
Well, the ABA's monopoly over law school accreditation has two sources.
One is each state's Supreme Court has to decide who's eligible to take the bar exam in that state.
And maybe due to laziness, maybe due to inertia, almost all states have delegated that function to the ABA.
And there's a movement now to change that.
The other important one is the Department of Education.
The U.S.
Department of Education looks to the ABA and you are only eligible for federal student loans if you attend an ABA accredited law school.
And so the Department of Education, I think, can and should kick the ABA out of that, just like the Department of Justice has kicked the ABA out of evaluating judicial nominees.
It's a left wing special interest group.
It's like the Southern Poverty Law Center or the ACLU.
And unfortunately, as long as law schools remain this training ground, this indoctrination camps for left wing legal activists, that's, you know, we're going to have the law fair is going to continue.
The out of control pro bono programs by the big law firms is going to continue.
The crazy...
Orwellian disciplinary process conducted by state bar associations is going to continue.
