So we really in order to fix our legal system, you have to fix legal academia.
And in order to fix legal academia, you have to kick the ABA out of the accreditation process.
Each state is going to have to do that.
Tennessee is considering it right now.
In fact, Michael Patrick Leahy's law school, the National School of Law, is not ABA accredited.
But in Tennessee, they are allowed to take the bar exam anyway because they have a century of a track record of producing good quality law graduates.
So this is a big job.
Our legal academia didn't get corrupted overnight, and it's not going to get fixed overnight.
But we have to focus attention on this.
Well, he's just showing his hand, and hopefully Kentucky voters will figure that out.
His father was a very popular governor.
He's a good-looking guy, and he snookered Tennessee voters for that reason.
But they are a pretty conservative lot up there, and I hope that they recognize Democratic— Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a moderate Democrat anymore.
