I was so bitter.
I nearly got fired because I cursed out our boss.
And I'm very lucky that I didn't get fired.

And so when Waddle got hired, they wanted to see who could fit with him best.
You know, and a lot of us all tried out again.
And luckily, like, Justin Craig believed in me and put me next to Waddle.
So we did it for nights.
But, like, they're not hiring Tom Waddle to do nights.
Even though he was doing nights in WGN, it's because that was their only sports show.
They were bringing him in because they were going to replace Salisbury and Rosenblum.
So, like, three months later, I think it was, like, in April of 07, we took over.
And we haven't looked back since.
I think Waddle mentioned it.
Like you gotta be informed.
I mean, people are coming to you too, because you, you're supposed to know stuff.
You know what I mean?
Otherwise it's just a conversation with buddies and a text chain or in a bar, but, but like, and like, I think what Waddle mentioned too, like, I don't know if this is necessarily a through line, but I think that's the basis.
That's gotta be sports.
