So like in going back for me, Carmen and I were doing that full time show, you know, and and I think the Reinsdorf incident, they they were wondering as we were the midday show, we took over for Mariotti.
So I was a sidekick for Mariotti.
I don't know if you remember that fish.
It was like it lasted for a year or two.
It wasn't a co-host.
It was like a sidekick role.
And, you know, so then Carmen and I auditioned and then it's opening day and Jerry says that and that we interviewed him under false pretenses when all we did was ask him a Bulls question or two about Eddie Curry because he was the owner of the Bulls, too.
And Eddie Curry had a heart issue.
So like good reporters and we and he knew he could bully us.
And I think a lot of our management then lost confidence in us.
Not to our fault, because they just saw maybe these guys are too raw or they're not ready for primetime.
So we ended up getting demoted back to the nighttime shift.
They hired Salisbury and Rosenblum.
Which I'll argue, and even though I like Steve a lot, I like both his guys.
It was one of the worst sports shows in the history of Chicago.
And I was so bitter.
Like Waddle was talking about getting cut from the Bears.
I was like, this was my moment with this.
I was so furious.
