There's just a process you can use and I think any organization benefits from it.
Long story short, Volkswagen was trying to enter the US market to do it.
They weren't able to do it because their emissions weren't at the right level.
So instead of actually fixing the emissions, the hard way in their vehicles, they chose a shortcut where they were just entering software and they would basically cheat the emissions tests.
So they weren't actually changing their emissions and doing the right thing.
They were kind of cheating.
They eventually got found out.
And they basically just, instead of spending $5 billion converting the engines, they lost $30 billion and everyone got put in jail.
So if you just made the right choice at the start, this would have been a lot easier.
Yeah, and also everyone's kind of watching how the ladies behave to take all their cues off that.
So as a leader, you've got to kind of set the right standard and if you can't kind of say one thing and do the other, then the organisation will follow you.
Yeah, and I think there's always that kind of stereotype of a leader, which people have, which is often – it's often a really flawed view of how – I think a good leader operates.
I think a good leader is often pretty studious and quiet but very focused on the job.
And they, like you're saying, they bring everyone with them and make everyone feel like they're contributing.
And it's often not flashy or showy, but it's far more effective.
