A, I played with him in New England.
He's a great dude.
And you mentioned this about, I think maybe other people have too, of just about he showed that he was disgruntled, but he didn't become a cancer on the team, which is very much what he could have done to force his way out.
But he, by all accounts, was still a good teammate, tried to make himself available.
But yeah, he talks about feeling like he's someone where they want him.
That goes again back to this dysfunction in the Raiders organization because it very much feels like Pete didn't really need him or want him there.
I don't know if Spytek did either, but neither party, he could have helped this team this year in a more prominent role, in a more intentional role on offense.
And he wasn't, he didn't,
get a contract for any more than he was asking for from the Raiders.
So on one hand, I get if you're building for the future, then maybe not having Jacode Myers around to use that money elsewhere makes sense.
I understand that.
But Pete specifically said he wanted to win right now.
So if you wanted to win right now, he's a guy who could have helped you win right now at a very reasonable price tag.
But instead, you kind of
push him out the door and he ended up signing Tyler Lockett.
And so, again, we just have no idea who has influence over what and what the unified vision from this team is as a whole right now.
And that is a distinctive, you know,
detail of that.
And now we're looking at the Jags who, you know, I think there's a lot of belief in Liam Cohen as a coordinator, as a caller, but as a head coach, remain to be seen.
They're catching their stride.
