The next thing on a practical point of view, Paul, is people can build their documents with updates in mind.
Um, I am a big proponent of the Microsoft products, not because they're great, it's because everybody's got them.
They are universal.
Um and they do have some pretty nifty tools in there that make it easy to do your numbering and uh so that the the document will update itself.
You add it a heading, it will reflow all the numbering and the heading.
Updating your table of contents then takes about two minutes.
And so, oh my gosh, here's the concept.
the table of contents in your F D D is actually accurate.
Um so that can be you can use the styles that are built into Microsoft Word.
And the other thing I would recommend for every company, um
is to start out with a style guide for the company.
Um, if all your memos, um Nothing Bunch Cakes, a client of mine in Las Vegas has done this.
Every memo is done with the same font.
you know what the indentation is supposed to be, you know what the margins are supposed to be.
Um, you have structures for letters and headings.
